WELCOME, Pre-Adult Affairs Organisation (PAAO) focuses on building potentials and providing qualitative care for young people, women and special widows through empowerment programmes in the form of special trainings, special scholarship awards, special Health Care programmes, dedicated Rehabilitation/Family Integration Services as well as counseling, free legal aid for the defense of the defenseless in our society, problem-specific community development programme amongst others , So seat, relax as I take you through PAAOs One Hundred and Twenty Billion (#120b) naira 3-in-1 Mega Project in Nigeria with special attention on PAAO annual Fibroid Project.
THE MAIN PROJECT
The responsibility to create a desirable future for Nigeria rests solely on Women and Youths, because it is said 'Train a woman, you have trained a nation', 'Train a youth and you have secured the future of a Leader of tomorrow'. There is need for women and youth in the geographical and political entity called Nigeria to make worthy contributions to National Development. As such, a positive change in the present deplorable status of this class of persons in Nigeria is urgently required.
The need to establish the Pre-Adult Affairs Organisation 3-in-1 Mega Support Centre (PAPS Centre) was born out of the urgent need to attend to diverse deplorable status of women and youth especially those not above the pre-adult age of 35 years. Pre-Adult Affairs Organisation (PAAO), is dedicated towards building potentials and providing qualitative care for young people, women and special widows with issues relating to the following:
Reproductive Health Challenges with special emphasis on the provision of free Fibroid Treatment / medication to affected women.
Family Integration Services and Rehabilitation.
Vocational Skill Acquisition.
It is worthy to note that Pre-Adult Affairs Organisation (PAAO) is the first to embark on an enormous project such as the establishment of her 3-in -1 mega project support centre with special focus on:
The establishment of a Rehabilitation Department that renders services to victims of broken homes, family violence, displaced persons, recently freed prisoners, as well as individuals that have taken a right turn from drug addiction and other immoral acts. While going through rehabilitation, patients/clients/inmates and other classes of beneficiaries will have the opportunity to benefit from the Vocational Skill Acquisition Department (VOSA)
The establishment of a Reproductive Health Care Department that takes care of Reproductive Health and Right Issues, Sexuality Education, Reproductive health challenges and counseling of women and youths in the society. The department also comprise of a Fibroid Treatment Unit (FTU) that will be equipped to International Standard for the treatment of women with Fibroids and other similar reproductive health challenges.
The Establishment of a Vocational Skill Acquisition Department, will be responsible for training young adults ranging from school drop outs, secondary/high school graduates, less privileged and special widows on different vocational skill and trade acquisition for a certain period depending on the duration of the skill or trade, while ROLWIN (Rotational Loan Without Interest) will empower the VOSA graduates financially to become self reliance and responsible citizens.
PAAO ANNUAL FIBROID TREATMENT PROJECT
Fibroids are the most common growths in a woman's reproductive system. Many women with Fibroid have no symptoms at all, while others have symptoms ranging from heavy bleeding and pains to incontinence or infertility.
Fibroids are tumors that grow in the uterus (womb). They are benign (they are not cancerous), but are made up of muscle fibers. Fibroids can be as small as a pea and can grow as large as a melon. It is estimated that 20-50% of women have, or will have fibroid at some point in their lives. They are rare in women under the age of 20, but common in women in their 30s and 40s. Fibroids tend to shrink after a woman reaches menopause. Hence the need for this functional and practical Annual Fibroid Treatment project has been put in place towards building potentials and providing qualitative care for young people, women and special widows.
The Focus of the Annual Fibroid Treatment Project includes the following:
Inspection of Hospitals and other Facilities
Adequate free medical checkup for women at designated medical centers
Treatment and also provision of free medications to affected women
Selection of one thousand (1000) women for the fibroid treatment in our Fibroid Treatment Unit
Launching of the free Fibroid Educational Handbook in five (5) major Nigerian LANGUAGES (English, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, and Pidgin English)
Launching of the Raffle Draw Ticket/Hat/T-shirt/Walking Stick/Souvenirs
Courtesy visits to the president of the Federation, Governors, their wives (First Ladies of Federal Republic of Nigeria), Traditional Rulers, Corporate Bodies, UN Agencies and Individuals who believes in our cause.
Fund Raising in the 36 States of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Nigeria Union/Communities in Diaspora etc.
