through several maltreatments from EFCC, SSS, POLICE and most especially
S.O.N. And she was able to overcome the crises is enough facts that she
has the strength even for a political leadership. Truly, people like
Chief Sandra Duru, come once in a lifetime. She is selfless, loving,
compassionate, kind, generous, and amiable. With a woman like Sandra,
the Agunwanyin of Igbo land, the world has been a better place, and history
would not be complete without mentioning of her name at least in our
generation. - Funsho

I think you have a heart of gold and giving. I also know that givers
never lack. Your project of training the less privileged is definitely
not for the sake of money but for humanity. Keep it up. I know it will
not be easy but you have been equipped by God. - Engr.
Donald, National Board of Technical Education (NBTE)
An NGO with less privileged in mind is a good project. It is a legacy
that one could give the society. I therefore commend your initiative
in this direction.
Besides, to make it sustainable, there could be other auxiliary services
that you may wish take along.
Good luck and God bless. - Joe Onaniyi

Chief Segun Olusola, mni, OFR
She is vast in experience as if she has lived in this life (planet)
for ages. She is very articulate, very intelligent, very compassionate,
a very passionate person about any issue she decides to take on.
She
is also very compassionate like I tried to say, very generous, she is
also a very experienced business woman and she is also a no-nonsense
woman. I see in her a potential leader for this nation and not just for
her business empire, which she has been able to build through days of
hard work.
By my own experience and discussion I had with her, she actually
deserves what she has achieved so far. Sandra Duru has touched many lives
positively. - Debo Adeniran
Chief Sandra Duru is my boss. She is a go-getter. She is tough, and
at the same time very, very nice. She is a mother; she takes time to
prepare meals for us as staff, a great motivator and a role model to
the young people of Nigerian and all over the world.
She has really impacted my life a lot; she has really motivated me to
the best I could be. It is just clear proof that no matter how young
you are, age is not an obstacle or barrier. You can achieve whatever
you want to achieve in a short while.
Sandra Duru is an epitome of truth and a true leader who will first serve
before she’s served; a lion, a mother, a defender of the meek and
less privileged. You truly deserve to be called the Great Servant of
Our Time (GOST)! Sandra Duru!!!
She is a wonderful person; she is very generous and nice. She always
carries everyone along. She is humble. She is someone that believes in
young people; she is someone that has passion for young people (including
teenagers), and she is ready to do anything to see young people grow
beyond where they are. - Staff
She is my daughter, I know her very well. By the special grace of God,
she is a good daughter to me and the ministry. I am an evangelist. I
preach the gospel.
The bus we are using today was given to the ministry
by her. I remember what was written on that bus was “Pre-Adult
Affairs Organisation”. It’s not easy to give, I know her
as a giver. -Pastor
Sunday Udeh (President & Founder, World Evangelical Time Ministries, Inc.)
Chief Sandra Duru is simply an achiever, a role model, an icon of truth.
I see her as Nigeria’s Oprah Winfrey, Ellen Johnson, Margaret Tacher,
Hillary Clinton, Barroness Lynda Chalker and the rest of the world’s
female great achievers.
She’s tough, ambitious, and knows exactly what she wants, even
if you call her any name. She has confidence in her ability, and also
tough enough to follow through. She is a success.
No matter how rough, no matter what kind of outside pressure, no matter
how many bad breaks along the way, she keeps her sight on the final goal,
to win, win, win – and with more love and passion than the world
has ever witnessed in any performance. She has a bleeding heart for helping
the masses. Yes, she has a tough heart but a tender mind.
She’s a leader, once convinced in a particular course of action
is the right one. She has the determination to stick to it and even undaunted
when the going gets rough.
Above all, she stands up for what is right, even if she stands alone.
Honestly, I respect her.
Chief Sandra Duru, as I know, has the ball rolling in her
favour, as I see her to be a focused and determined fellow in achieving
her set goals. I’ve also come to know her to being a disciplined,
straight-forward, humble and humorous lady with respect and the fear
of the Lord, these qualities make her a unique woman. - Awoyinka
Oluwatoyin Comfort
Chief Sandra Duru makes the frequent use of the word “grooming”.
This shows that youth development and potential optimizing is a parcel
of her. In every conversation I have had with the chief I always have
some truth of life to reminisce on. I reckon that God allows his children
at a stage in their life, meet a person like Chief Sandra Duru for the “groom” in
life. - Adebayo

The Pre-Adult Affairs Organisation (P.A.A.O.) is a Non-Governmental
Organisation devoted to giving and changing the terms of giving out aids
and scholarship, thus giving hope to the hopeless.
The body representatives of NANS say that most youths are interactive
in politics, are actively participating in State Affairs and matters
concerning our National Development. They spoke on corruption, intimidation
that youth’s encounter, similar to what the Executive Director
of P.A.A.O., Chief Sandra Duru has encountered.
Our fraudulent leaders and their evil cartel set such unconstitutional
act and unfair treatment against Chief Sandra Duru, just to kill her
dream. These illegal punishments are improper and unjust. We call on
the youth to speak out and say, “NO TO OPPRESSION, NO TO VICTIMIZATION,
NO TO THOSE WHO WANTS TO DEPRIVE US OF OUT FUTURE.”
The corrupt leaders, though afraid of Sandra Duru, placed the beginning
of the unconstitutional and unfair treatments on her at the time she
was made a consultant to Standards Organisation of Nigeria (S.O.N.) while
she was making sure that all qualities of goods and products imported
into the country are not sub-standardized, economically beneficial and
of good quality and ensuring that S.O.N. does not focus as a regulatory
agency, which has been turned to profit-making agency through extortion
of billions of naira from importers in the name of “SONCAP penalty.”
Chief Sandra Duru was called a Prisoner of Conscience because she never
gave up even though she was remanded unlawfully in Kirikiri female prison.
She was also termed as a true Socialist because she had the interest
of the social well-being of individuals at heart.
We, NANS representatives, pledged our support to Chief Sandra Duru because
she never relents until justice is done.
We are convinced to liken her
character to the kinds of Late Mrs. M. K. O. Kudirat Abiola and Late
Chief Gani Fawehinmi in their effort to promote justice and have been
jailed by Agencies and Bodies which are meant to promote and protect
them. Though, through all their travails and challenges, they were exonerated.
NANS also classified her as a practical person who is relentless in her
pursuit of justice while also commending her role through P.A.A.O., which
stands for the course of its establishment, to counsel, educate and promote
pre-adult education, despite all her travails. This includes paying of
school fees of various widows, children, providing scholarship to students
in schools.
In conclusion, the Executive Director’s attitude is worthy of emulation.
She possesses all qualities of a real leader – determined and full
of purpose to develop her country. We the Nigerian students are proud
of her project, PAAO. - National
Association of Nigerian Students (NANS)

She is a Sticker for Standard, a proof that age is not a constraint on

It’s interesting to find a young woman in this generation
to imbibe the thoughts and actions of our Lord Jesus Christ. A vision
to take care of the less privilege citizens of this country. She has
found those who are hungry, those who are thirsty, and those who go naked… and
to all those she now has a plan to meet their needs. I just pray that
God in His infinite mercies will see her through and through (Amen). - Staff,
National Board of Technical Education, NBTE (June, 2010)
Remarks by staff and youth members of the Pre-Adult Affairs Organization
Chief Sandra C. Duru is born to create. She is a genius, highly creative and competitive, imaginative, articulate, focused and highly result and achievement oriented in everything she does. She is obstinate and has no apologies for that. For her, fear and failure never have room for consideration and she constantly demands that of those that work with her.
Remarks by Dr.Nnamdi Oboli
Some are born great
Some achieve greatness and
Some have greatness thrust upon them
In the case of Chief Sandra C Duru, she has achieved greatness. A woman of substance who has achieved, in her short years in life, much more than most people her age and older only hope to achieve if given more time. What she has been able to accomplish is nothing short of genius considering her very humble beginnings.
Driven by her insatiable hunger for positive change and unwillingness to be just a bystander waiting for the situations that appalls her to change itself or for some imaginary figure to come and someday effect that change that she so desires to see, she has systematically charted a course in her life that can effectively appropriate that change in her nation, her generation across the globe, among the youth, mothers and women in general and also the less privileged in the society. Being a stickler for proper analysis, she has over the years taken up courses and attended programmers’ in different countries around the world.
This is a lady who has dared to be different where most are unwilling to let go of the norm of the day and she has an almost childlike approach to achieving great results, never giving up where many others before her have hitherto failed in even seeing hope. She does this with a fearless persona that exudes her finest character, her ability to focus. It is this ability that she has that made her to be accepted as a consultant to the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON).
There she exhibited her strong convictions to get things done right by training the operatives of SON in various aspects of their jobs so that they can more effectively carry out their duties and rid our great nation, Nigeria, of fake and substandard goods, which, in many cases, endangered the life and health of our citizens.
This tenacity of hers has not come without its pitfalls. In carrying out her duties she has rocked the boat of many who would rather they had business as usual in the various operations of the SON and this has led to accusations which led to her arrest by the EFCC and the SSS on trumped up charges. She was in prison for about 3months and all her documents and business dealings were investigated, but all to no avail because all the charges were dropped for lack of evidence and blatantly false accusations.
Her company, SANCHHY (NIG) LIMITED, was given a clean bill. After all the investigations and all the trauma of the prison ordeal has served to give her company and herself the credibility which it deserves. This has given her a renewed vigor to do more to achieve instead of dampening her spirit.
It is by knowledge that we acquire wisdom, not by age and this is especially true in the case of Chief Sandra C Duru, a revelation for our time, who challenges us to be the change we want in our the society
She is a remarkable woman of our time, a woman of substance, who has been through alot and yet conquered all her fear. She has been through all the worse times, only to rise above it and even achieve and show others how they too can also achieve at the same time.
Remarks by David Ashinze
Chief Sandra C. Duru can be likened to Joseph, who in the face of trials, tribulations and betrayal (from those closest to him) remained resolute, believing in God's providence and promise for a bright future. She has had her fair share of trials with the security agencies; Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), The Nigeria Police and Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) which reprimanded her in prison six times for charges she knew nothing about.
Even while in prison, like Joseph who made the prison was a lively place, Chief Sandra Duru, made sure the welfare of the Prisons was improved through out her stay in the prisons, though this period was a trying time in her life, she remained excited and high-spirited, assured of victory.
Like Joseph, who in the long run was the saviour of the family because he forgave those who offended him and caused him pain, Chief Sandra C. Duru has forgiven and has come out victorious and now is back resilient, stronger to make positive impact in the lives of youth. Just as the saying goes, "when the going gets tough, the tough get going", she stands as a role model for all youth.
She has a clean profile with all charges against her dropped. Chief Sandra C. Duru stands in awe of God's power, grace and mercy which has brought her this far through thick and thin.
Remarks by Ambassador Olusegun Olusola
We worked together on Pre-Adult Affairs which she has conceptualized as a project that was truly truly preparing young people for greatness. She has been through some experiences, the thing is, you will never take a look at her and say "you mean you have been through the concentration and the demands and the rigorous of prison yard and survived".

Remarks by CP Marvel Akpoyibo
I have known Sandra Duru for a few years. Her level of intelligence and industry attracted me to her. She’s very articulate, unassuming, ambitious and sometimes respectful. She has very big ambitions and she wants to get to the top in everything she does. One unique thing about her is she hates oppression. She fights to sustain justice and equity without counting the cost. She could be very temperamental sometimes. She is very bold and she has a very high carriage of herself.
Talking about pre adult affairs organisation that she has founded, as a police officer, I think I am interested in it because we are talking about pre adult affairs which are the foundational frame work for any individual development. If you get it right before adulthood, you get it right thereafter. If you get it wrong, you are going to have problems thereafter. If you must deal with crime, emphasis must be laid on the pre adult. The pre adult activities will encompass family background, family training, educational background, up bringing, influence of peers schools and moral doctrines. The personality of the adult is a reflection of the activities before adulthood. The pre adult is the stage where personality is formed. It is a very fundamental stage in formation of individual personality and value system. Such an NGO will go places if well positioned and if the activities are well directed. It will address so many aspects of societal needs, ranging from motherless babies, child care, the rights of women and children, crime and criminality in the society because if we get it right from the beginning, every adult will behave with decorum and abide by the law. It is at the pre adult stage that we have been getting it wrong that is why we have problems in the adults, and that is what Sandra has set programmes to put right.
About Chief Sandra Chidinma Duru, every individual can only get to the height they dictate for themselves. She will go places because of the potentials she has. If she can harness all the skills that are inherent in her, she will certainly hit the roof. She has manifested tremendous potentials of greatness but she needs the guidance of the Holy Spirit. She needs to be very close to God, totally surrendered to the almighty God and allow God to order everything that concerns her, because I do not see her as an ordinary child/lady, Sandra is a very Strong/good spirit that cannot be killed, stopped or destroyed by anybody or forces. Sandra Duru is a genius, you need to be upright, smart and intelligent to move or work with her, and she is strong-willed and fearless. I always say to my dear friend, daughter Sandra Duru that it is not every fight you undertake physically, there are some fights you hand over to the almighty God. You must live a life that is very submissive to the almighty God and then you’ll have your peace. That’s why the bible says; cast all your cares upon him. If you react to everything that’s said about you, you’ll be distracted and you will not go too far. These are the areas she must address very very seriously. Sandra Duru that I know loves God and she is very generous and fearless irrespective of the challenges that come her way, she’s always strong and ready. She is an asset to our country Nigeria.
Remarks by Emeka Umegboh (WebMaster)
As the team worked on the site, Chief Sandra Chidinma Duru personified : "INSPIRATION", A DREAM TAKING FORM", A POSITIVE NEW CHAPTER FOR THIS & FUTURE GENERATION", "AN UNVEILING OF MAGIC".
